The Full Story
Ms. Adama B. Wann is an African lady who hails from Guinea located precisely in West-Africa. . She was born in 1976 to Elhadj and Fatoumata Kaba both of blessed memory. She had a normal childhood with her Parents and siblings.
After Graduating from high school, she traveled to Maputo in Mozambique and was enrolled in a school in Manhattan by a friend. Coming to America was a dream come true for her. She wouldn’t say she was a member of the popular crowd in High school, but she had a very large circle of supportive friends which made her transition in the United States.
Ms. Adama then moved to Atlanta Georgia, where she met her first Husband, who graduated from Georgia Technical Institute in 2000. She later had two beautiful girls namely, Mouna and Aicha right there at Atlanta Georgia. Her marriage didn’t last for long as she got divorced in 2006 and moved to various cities, but finally ended back again to the city with her daughters.
She has now been in the field of childcare for over 15 years, working with children of all ages. As a part-time job throughout the years, she has cared for the elderly and sold African arts and clothing, which has made her realize the importance of AFRICAN FASHION.
Ms. Adama is indescribably thankful for the people such as buyers, seller’s friends, family and her new husband – Mr. Bangs who has been a part of the story. Moving to Silver Spring Maryland in 2020 marked the start of something new. She discovered she could export products from her hometown in Africa and appreciate the challenges she faced as a new entrepreneur and caregiver and looks forward to learning more.
Now, she feels the need to expand her business and launch Wannabizservices as its own entity to focus especially on enriching women’s lives by changing their looks, home decor and many more.
